We were also meant to be having lunch with Tom and Jill's daughter, Sarah, one of my old best friends and the kids were going to finally have some children to play with. Well, unfortunately, it also turned out that Sarah's son and Sarah herself, were both sick, so I at least did not feel like we were totally messing her about. The work on the car took all morning, but it had to be done and I am so grateful that Wesley spotted the issue and got it taken care of before we were on the road with our little family in the car.
As James was packing up the car I asked Lou if I could borrow a pair of her scissors to quickly trim Bryttain's fringe (bangs), she is a hairdresser after all. She did one better and offered to cut Bryttain's fringe herself.
Well I just had to document Bryttain's first professional haircut!
A couple of last minute photos of us all to remember Wesley and Lou by and we were finally on the road, arriving at Tom and Jill's in time for dinner, instead of lunch.
