The proof - we really are in London! |
Well we ended up having to keep things pretty low key for our first day. After a terrible first night, our first morning started with both Asia and Arran throwing up at about twenty minute intervals for three to four hours, trying to sleep in between each session. It was exhausting and worrying and quite sad. At about midday, after things had subsided a little, we decided to take just a little walk down the street to get some fresh air and explore a bit. With upset tummies we decided that a bus or train ride might not be the best idea.
Nobody had much energy so our time out was short-lived. Then we decided that James should take the children back to the house to chill and watch some movies whilst I went grocery shopping with my sister. It was fun to be in an English supermarket again and see all the old familiar products, along with many new ones.
In other news, last night half a cup of mint tea spilled onto my laptop and today it will not switch on at all! I am frustrated and upset and all I can do is pray that permanent damage was not done, or that by some miracle God will fix it!
